Pediatric Speech‑Language Pathologist

- Pay
- $80 to $92per billed hour, plus 4% vacation pay

The team you'd join
Our Kelowna team of seven pediatric OTs works closely together, learns from each other and keeps growing through ongoing training. You'd be the first SLP on the team, with families already on our waitlist for speech support.
We're part of Creative Therapy Consultants, an employee-owned BC rehab company founded in 1986, so you get the feel of a small clinic with the backing of an established company. We work with children with autism, developmental delays, ADHD, Down syndrome and other developmental needs.

What you'll do
- Assess and treat speech sound disorders, language disorders, social communication, stuttering, feeding and literacy
- Co-treat with our OTs where it helps the child, and share clients across disciplines
- Coach parents so progress carries over at home
- Work in clinic, in homes and community settings, and virtually, based on what suits you and the family
- Write clear reports and home programs for families and funders (AFU, At Home Program, Jordan's Principle)
What you need
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Registration, or eligibility for registration, with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)
- Registration, or eligibility, on the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP)
- Pediatric experience preferred; new grads with strong pediatric placements are welcome
- Valid driver's licence, reliable vehicle, criminal record check
